Dell launches Four New Gaming Monitors

Along with its Ryzen-powered Alienware m15 and G5 15 gaming laptops, Dell has now launched a new range of gaming monitors in four sizes. 24-inch, 27-inch, 32-inch, and 34-inch are the four sizes. All SKUs, except the 24” one, have a curved form factor. High refresh rates ranging between 240Hz and 144Hz are being offered.

The Dell 34 S3422DWG is the top-of-the-line gaming monitor model. The features present in the model WQHD resolution (3440×1440) with a 34-inch VA panel, a refresh rate of 144Hz, 2ms response time, and 90% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

The Dell S3422DWG is AMD FreeSync, and VESA DisplayHDR certified while also supporting variable refresh-rate technology, which allows it to be used with consoles such as the Sony PS5 and Microsoft’s Xbox One X. Additional illumination is also provided in the form of a downlight.

Moving on to the details of the Dell S2722DGM and Dell S3222DGM gaming monitors. We get 27-inch QHD VA panels with a curvature of 1500R for the former and 32-inch QHD VA panels with a curvature of 1800R for the latter. Like the 34” version, they also have a 2ms response time. They cover 99% of the sRGB gamut. AMD FreeSync is supported on both models, but Vesa DisplayHDR certification is lacking.

Last but not the least, the Dell 25 S2522HG gaming monitor features a 24-inch FHD (1920×1080) VA panel clocked at 240Hz. It supports variable refresh-rate technology and is compatible with both Nvidia G Sync and AMD FreeSync.

Other features of the gaming monitor include 1ms response time, 90% sRGB colour gamut coverage, pivot, height, swivel & tilt adjustments, and a downlight similar to the one found in the 34” variant. Dell says that all the models, Dell 25 S2522HG, 27 S2722DGM, 32 S3222DGM, and 34 S3422DWG, will be available by the end of May 2021 worldwide. Their prices will be revealed as the launch date approaches.
