Dell G3 15 3500 gaming laptop launched with 10th gen Comet Lake-H CPUs & up to RTX 2060 GPU

Dell has announced its new range of affordable gaming laptops in the form of Dell G3 15 3500, now with upgraded hardware and specs. The Dell G3 15 comes equipped with the latest 10th Gen Comet Lake-H processors and NVIDIA GPUs.

So, being a budget-oriented gaming laptop series, it features the Core i5-10300H and a Core i7-10750H CPUs along with GPU options like GeForce GTX 1650, GTX 1650 Ti, GTX 1660 Ti, and RTX 2060. Dell offers 15.6-inch FHD displays with 200 nits or 300 nits 60 Hz panel or an optional 144 Hz display with 300 nits of peak brightness.

You can configure the RAM from 8 to 16 GB, and SSD storage is up to 1 TB or opt-in for dual storage options available in the form of SSD or 1 TB 5400 RPM HDD. Dell has upgraded the thermals from last-gen to make it more capable and competitive as well.

The company offers the laptop in black or white color variants with up to a 68 Wh battery. The backlit keyboard also has a customizable 4-zone RGB lighting that can be done using Alienware Command Center. Its Game Shift feature on the Dell G3 15 allows to module the laptop’s performance based on gaming workloads.

Coming to the ports, the Dell G3 15 3500 has various options depending on the type of GPU used, the HDMI 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 1, USB 2.0, SD card slot, headphone jack remains constant. With GTX 1650 Ti variant you get USB Type-C with DisplayPort along with 1×1 Gigabit Ethernet.

On the other hand, variants from GTX 1660 Ti onwards also feature a Thunderbolt 3 port, a mini-DisplayPort, also a 2×2 Killer E2500 v2 Gigabit Ethernet port. Dell has priced the laptop with a starting price of $779.99 and will be available from May 21 onwards.
