deepikapadukone-hrithikroshan — Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan have teamed up for two films. They first shared the screen in 2013.

Even though [the](https://technosports.co.in/kd-the-devil-in-theatres-heres/)ir professional relationship spans over a decade, they’ve only appeared in two feature films together. This makes their collaboration quite special in the cinematic world.

The real journey kicked off with *Krrish 3* in 2013, a superhero extravaganza that Filmkraft Productions produced and Rakesh [Roshan](https://technosports.co.in/forget-srk-jailer-2-makers-are-now-in-talks-with-hrithik-roshan/) directed. The film turned out to be a huge hit, raking in over **₹244 crore** worldwide.

While Deepika’s role in the franchise was short, it paved the way for audiences to see them in more significant roles later on.

Here’s the thing: they finally paired up as lead co-stars in the 2024 action film *Fighter*. Directed by Siddharth An[and](https://technosports.co.in/the-michael-biopic-is-becoming-indias/) and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, the film hit theaters on January 25, 2024.

This release became a major cinematic milestone, collecting around **₹250 crore** at the global box office [UNCONFIRMED]. After its theatrical success, *Fighter* reached a new audience on JioHotstar, where it’s available for streaming.

| Film | Release Year | Role Status |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Krrish 3 | 2013 | Supporting/Brief |
| Fighter | 2024 | Lead Co-stars |

The difference between these two films really highlights how much their star power has grown. While *Krrish 3* benefited from the established franchise strength of Hrithik, *Fighter* showcased the chemistry between the two leads within an original action story, as noted by [VentureBeat AI](https://venturebeat.com/category/ai).

[Deepika Padukone](https://technosports.co.in/deepika-padukone-ranveer-singh-2026/) has won several accolades, including the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for *Padmaavat*. However, the two haven’t snagged any major individual acting awards specifically for their work in *Fighter*.

**Verdict: With a combined box office total surpassing ₹494 crore across their two films, the Deepika Padukone-Hrithik Roshan pairing remains a sought-after asset for major studio productions.**

The big question now is whether producers will bring these stars back together for a third project. Given the success of their dynamic in *Fighter*, fans are eager to see if a new script can tap into their chemistry in a different genre, as mentioned by [Times of India Entertainment](https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/entertainment/rssfeeds/1898055.cms).

For now, the spotlight [is](https://technosports.co.in/deool-band-2-is-writing-marathi-cinema/) on how their existing films continue to perform on OTT platforms.
