The new video has also been set like wildfire along with netizens who can identify the girl in the obscene video. The tremendous fact is Alia’s face has been edited smoothly over someone else’s body. The video dropped on the internet within a few days just after several celebrities had passed through the same situations. This is definitely a misuse of technology and breaking the image of an individual.

The Indian superstar Rashmika Mandanna was the first female victim to fall prey to deepfake videos. You will get many stars including the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan, who criticized the act and demanded strict action against the people behind it.

Deepfake: Govt’s Action

The Govt. is also looking after this matter as Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar told the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) will generate a platform on which people can able to notify the ministry regarding IT rule violations via social media platforms.

“Meity will put in place a platform through which the aggrieved people can very easily notify the ministry about the violations. Also, a mechanism will be designed by the ministry that will assist them in filing FIRs”, he said.
