Pratik Gandhi has finally appeared in a real-life drama film that unveils the struggle of a common man in our society. The makers have dropped the official trailer of ‘Dedh Bigha Zameen’ on the JioCinema OTT Platform.

The story of the film depicts a battle of one man against the administration to prove his ownership over a piece of land whose quantity is Dedh Bigha (1.5 acre). In this movie Pratik Gandhi appears as a common man who is chasing from the pillar to acquire the possession of his ancestral land in a bid to give dowry to the in-laws of his sister for wedding.

Dedh Bigha Zameen: Plot
The new trailer kicks off with Pratik Gandhi who is raising his voice by saying, “ What would be greater for any brother than his sister getting good in-laws house.” After this Pratik has seen to be discussing with the on-laws of his sister for wedding. But the in-laws are much more interested on getting dowry.
Among all of this he has promised that he will give Rs. 20 lakh cash, jewellery, and a car of their wish, the climax starts at this point as Pratik starts to face a tremendous struggle to arrange the dowry for the in-laws of his sister’s wedding. Now he plans to sell off their 1.5-acre land which was purchased by his father. The situation becomes more complicated when he starts to realize that a piece of his land is under the possession of someone else.
The character of Partik represents the hardship of fighting against the corrupted system. From this film, a question arises if the cop and judiciary do not support then where would the common man go? Pratik is telling his wife Khushali Kumar “Wohi karenge jo karte aaye hai. Haalat se ladhenge, kanoon se ladhenge, vuavasta se ladhenge.”
The trailer wrapped up with an emotional and touchy scene of Partik collecting the lump sump amount of dowry for the wedding of his sister with a strong determination.
