Dean Huijsen is set to join Bournemouth from Juventus after spending this past season on loan at Roma. The defender is set to make the move for a fee worth €18 million, and the deal will also include a sell-on clause for the Bianconeri.
The 6’5″ centre-back is a massive addition to the Cherries’ defence for the coming season, given how promising he has been during his time in Italy so far.

Aged only 19, the youngster has already earned himself a lot of praise given his versatility. He is imposing not only while defending, but also with the ball at his feet. Dean Huijsen is two-footed and is comfortable playing passes to aid build-up play as well.
As a result, he has all the makings of a top modern defender to go on and succeed. The medical tests for the move will follow in the coming days, after which the move will be finalised.
Juventus have bigger plans in the works, as they aim to sign Jean-Clair Todibo from OGC Nice as soon as they have offloaded Huijsen. The former Barcelona defender has been the subject of interest from Manchester United as well, but the Bianconeri could wrap up a move for him soon if they are able to proceed swiftly.
