Just a year ago, the Bianconeri were optimistic about integrating Huijsen into their first team after sending him out on loan to Roma for the 23-24 season. They even extended his contract till 2028 before he left, but he doesn’t seem to be a part of their plans anymore.
With a move to the Premier League, Dean Huijsen will face a whole new challenge. But, his impressive physical attributes even at 19 years of age make him an interesting prospect to keep an eye on for the coming season.
To replace him, Juventus are working to bring in Jean-Clair Todibo from OGC Nice. The former Barcelona centre-back has been a man in demand over the last few transfer windows. And this time, it seems like Juventus might end up luring him away from France at last.
Who does Huijsen represent at the youth level?
Spain U21, the Netherlands before that.
