Dean Henderson could end up joining Newcastle United in the summer transfer window. According to renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, he is one of three goalkeepers on the list for the Magpies at the end of the season.

The player wants to be a starting goalkeeper, and is open to seeking opportunities away from Old Trafford to make it happen. Manchester United will have to explore their options and decide whether they want to send him out on loan or not.

Dean Henderson a target for Newcastle United

Man United will make a decision about Dean in the summer whether let him go on loan or not. He wants to play as starter next season.

With David De Gea back to his best form between the sticks, Dean Henderson has been relegated to the bench for Manchester United. Since the arrival of Ralf Rangnick, De Gea has been the best player for the Red Devils, and has silenced his doubters from last year.

With the Spaniard regaining his form, the youngster has been deprived of opportunities in the first team. And now, the idea of him replacing De Gea between the sticks for Manchester United as a first choice seems absurd.

Since Dean Henderson has a long-term contract with Manchester United, it seems unlikely that he will be sold in the summer. But, a loan deal could be on the cards.

The England international has shown that he can be among the best in the top flight before. His campaign with Sheffield United helped him burst onto the scene, and another loan spell with Newcastle could help re-ignite his form, and potentially earn him a permanent transfer elsewhere.
