The video game remake craze has proven to be a win-win situation for everyone. Devs get to work on a classic game without worrying about the story, and they are also guaranteed a large payday, depending on the game.

And Dead Space is the most recent success story in this regard. The franchise was created by Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey, developed by Visceral Games, and published and owned by Electronic Arts.

While it appears to be a foregone conclusion, EA and Motive have yet to officially confirm that they will be working on remakes of Dead Space 2 and 3. However, it appears that they are still experimenting. EA has apparently distributed surveys asking fans if they want remakes of the other two games in the series.

## According to Dillon Rogers’ tweet, EA has sent out a survey asking fans if they want a remake of Dead Space 2 and 3.

According to the Tweet comments, it appears that everyone is in favor of a similar remake of the second game. However, there are some reservations about Dead Space 3. Fans appear to want more than just a “similar remake,” but rather a major overhaul that includes story elements. The third game is widely regarded as the weakest in the trilogy, owing to players’ perceptions that the narrative suffered a significant drop in quality.
