The wait for Dambuster’s highly anticipated Dead Island 2 isn’t long, but in the meantime, fans can look forward to more gameplay footage, which is set to premiere on March 2.
Despite the relatively poor reception of the first game, which was released in 2011, many people are excited about this zombie horror game sequel. This could be due to a revival of the zombie genre, the fact that the game has been in development for years, or the fact that this entry is more reverent and humorous.
Fans have been eager to see what Dambuster and Deep Silver have to offer this time around since Dead Island 2 revealed two new trailers at Gamescom 2022. The sequel could be a breath of fresh air when it comes to action RPG titles, with the cinematic teasers being memorable for their comedic take on the zombie trope. The developer also revealed the “FLESH System,” allowing gamers to see the gruesome mechanics that will allow for the procedural dismemberment of the undead.
Dead Island will have several different editions available to players at the launch

While the release date for Dead Island 2 has changed, it has changed for the better. Although many games are delayed, DI2 will be released a week earlier, on April 21 rather than April 28. This could be due to EA pushing back the release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor to April 28, which would only increase competition. In any case, it’s good news for those looking forward to the Dead Island sequel.
