The nine-day Shardiya, also known as Shrad Navratri, is a significant Hindu holiday celebrated all over India. The ultimate solar deity, Maa Kushmanda, is symbolic of warmth and the life-giving force of the sun. For those who worship her on the fourth day of Navratri, it is thought to provide health, positivity, and vitality.
Bathing, meditation, offering Ganges water, red garments, flowers, vermilion, Panchmeva, Naivedya, and Shringar are all part of the ceremony. It also involves saying the mantra “Ain Hree Devayi Namah,” presenting curd and pudding, and offering a white gourd.
