David Alaba will leave Bayern for sure, as confirmed by the player himself. But it’s not clear where he will end up, one of the subjects for heated debates across all platforms. These are true rumours because German publication BILD has confirmed that other clubs are trying to sign him.Â
Potential suitors call his agent since he will be available for free this summer, and the race is still on despite recent reports heavily linking him to Real Madrid. Paris Saint-Germain, alongside Liverpool, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Barcelona, is interested in him.Â
The defender has reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid regarding his contract. He wants to join the club, mainly since he has been widely documented to desire to one day play for Los Merengues. A four-year contract worth €12 million per season after taxes has been agreed upon between them.Â
While the contract is agreed and ready, Alaba is waiting for a few weeks to sign the contract. Barcelona’s interest was confirmed in the player by Fabrizio Romano on the Here We Go podcast; however, the club is currently powerless. They don’t have a president, and it will be until March until the elections take place.Â
Nothing advanced has been talked about with them, or any other club that are looking at Alaba.Â
