Ajith Kumar’s next has a casting twist. *Dare Devil* was first linked with Mohanlal in a key role, but fresh reports suggest **Marco star Unni Mukundan** may have taken that part instead.

### What’s the Buzz?

According to trackers Insplag and Movies Singapore, Unni Mukundan is reportedly set to play the character originally expected to go to Mohanlal. **None of this is officially confirmed**, and the makers haven’t announced the full cast.

The film is also being talked about as a multi-starrer, with discussions reportedly underway with **Kichcha Sudeepa and Upendra** for character roles. Those too remain unconfirmed.

**A new setup.** The project was initially expected to start early in 2026. After reports of production changes, Shalini Ajithkumar is said to have taken over as producer, and makers have now confirmed a November 2026 shoot.

### Where Ajith Was Last Seen?

Ajith’s last release was *Good Bad Ugly*, also directed by Adhik. He played AK, a former gangster called Red Dragon who leaves his past behind and spends 18 years in prison. After his release, he learns that his son is wrongly implicated in a case and has to revisit his old life to clear his name.
