Dani Olmo has reached an agreement with Barcelona over a six-year contract till 2030. The Spain international only wanted to join the Blaugrana, and has now agreed a deal with them. He believes he will be a perfect fit for their project and style of play.
The RB Leipzig attacking midfielder had a €60 million release clause in his contract, which wasn’t triggered while active. Now, Barcelona have made a bid worth €55 million up-front, plus a total of €7 million in add-ons for Olmo.

After spending four years with RB Leipzig, it seems like the 26-year-old is eager to return to Barcelona. He was a part of their youth setup from 2007 to 2014 before moving to Dinamo Zagreb.
The two clubs will now engage in negotiations to iron out the details of the payment and any other clauses.
Dani Olmo was extremely influential in Spain’s Euro 2024 win, dictating play from the number 10 position and scoring three goals while providing two assists in seven games.
