Let’s be real — when a film opens with Rs 8 crore on Day 1 and then pulls in just Rs 50 lakh on its 11th day, something has gone seriously wrong. That’s exactly where **Dacoit: A Love Story**, starring [Adivi Sesh](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adivi_Sesh) and Mrunal Thakur, finds itself right now. The Telugu action-thriller had a decent enough start but has been hemorrhaging audience interest at an alarming pace ever since.

### Day-Wise Box Office Collections — Dacoit India

| Day 1 | Rs. 8.00 Cr |
| Day 2 | Rs. 8.50 Cr |
| Day 3 | Rs. 7.75 Cr |
| Day 4 | Rs. 3.00 Cr |
| Day 5 | Rs. 3.25 Cr |
| Day 6 | Rs. 2.00 Cr |
| Day 7 | Rs. 1.50 Cr |
| Day 8 | Rs. 0.90 Cr |
| Day 9 | Rs. 1.50 Cr |
| Day 10 | Rs. 1.60 Cr |
| Day 11 (Est.) | Rs. 0.50 Cr |
| **Total** | **Rs. 38.50 Cr** |

### What Went Wrong in Dacoit ?

The film registered an **83% drop** from its first Monday to the second — a brutal number that tells a very clear story. Word-of-mouth simply didn’t work in its favour. In today’s hyper-connected world, audience opinion spreads fast, and when a film doesn’t emotionally connect, no amount of star power saves it at the box office.

The cast is stellar — Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur, Anurag Kashyap, Prakash Raj, and Sunil — but a strong ensemble alone doesn’t guarantee footfalls.

### What’s the Final Verdict?

At its current pace, **Dacoit is expected to wind up its theatrical run under the Rs 45 crore gross mark** — officially landing it in the **flop** category. It’s a tough outcome for a film that clearly had ambitions. For more box office analysis and Telugu film updates, check out [TechnoSports’ South Cinema section](https://www.technosports.co.in).
