Crunchyroll, the worldwide anime brand that caters to millions of fans across 200 countries and territories, has announced the premiere of the Hindi dub of the incredibly popular fantasy epic, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc. The series will debut in India on Monday, May 8, 2023, with Crunchyroll simulcasting new episodes every week, both with subtitles and in Hindi dub.

The Hindi voice cast for the series has been revealed, with Priyanka Bhandari as Tanjiro Kamado, Hitanshi Jha as Nezuko Kamado, Rahul Arya as Inosuke Hashibira, Farhan Ali as Muichiro Tokito, Shrishti Sargam as Mitsuri Kanroji, and Tushar Kumar Deka as Hantengu and Gyokko. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, based on Koyoharu Gotoge’s manga series published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, spans 23 volumes and has over 150 million copies in publication. Ufotable is responsible for animation production.
The plot of the series revolves around Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps to restore his younger sister, Nezuko, back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. The story unfolds as Tanjiro journeys to the Swordsmith Village and reunites with two Hashira, the Demon Slayer Corps’ highest-ranking swordsmen – Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito and Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji. With demons lurking in the shadows, a new battle begins for Tanjiro and his companions.
