The story follows Cid Kagenou, a boy who is reincarnated into the noble house scion in a new world. He is neither a protagonist nor a final boss but operates in the shadows, concealing his powers. As the self-proclaimed “The eminence in the shadow,” Cid leads the secret organization “Shadow Garden” to defeat the fictitious dark Cult of Diabolos, which unexpectedly turns out to be real.
