Crunchyroll Announces Exclusive Theatrical Release of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Trilogy

As the final episode of the Hashira Training arc from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba airs today, Crunchyroll, the ultimate destination for anime worldwide, has revealed exciting news. The highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle will be released exclusively in theatres globally as an epic trilogy of films.

Global Theatrical Release

This trilogy will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide, excluding select Asian territories, including Japan. While specific release dates have not been announced, this three-part cinematic event represents the final arc and the culmination of the immensely popular and award-winning shonen anime series.

About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

Based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge, published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in circulation. Since its debut in 2018, the franchise has captivated millions of fans globally. The story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is slaughtered by a demon. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered in April 2019 with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc.
