Cristiano Ronaldo Jr has signed a contract with Al Nassr U-13 to start featuring for the club where his father also plays. The youngster will follow in his father’s footsteps, wearing the number 7 shirt and keeping the CR7 legacy alive and going.

Ronaldo Jr has played at the Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid academies before, where his father has been playing in the past. And now, he has signed for the Saudi club to potentially break into the senior team at some point in the future.

Ronaldo has revealed that his son dreams of playing together with him, and in a few more years when he turns 16, that could be a realistic possibility. It seems unlikely that Cristiano will be returning to Europe in the future, which opens up the chance of Jr breaking into the first team should he impress at the junior levels.

So far, he has been quite impressive at the youth levels, playing with boys who are at least two years older than him. Born in California in 2010, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr could choose to represent the USMNT in the future if he chooses. He is also eligible to represent Portugal like his father, or Saudi Arabia if he stays in the country long enough.
