Cristiano Ronaldo has seemingly agreed to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr for a mammoth wage worth over €200 million. He has been offered a two-year deal by them, and is likely to accept, as he is currently a free agent.
The move has not been confirmed as of yet, but it is worth remembering that Marca were able to call Lionel Messi’s move to PSG amidst rumours that he would renew his contract last year. And possibly, the same could be true for Ronaldo now.
Cristiano Ronaldo could join Al Nassr for humongous wage
The veteran was linked with a move to the MLS as well. But, it was always clear that he would look for the highest wage possible if he were to leave Europe. And by the looks of things, the Middle Eastern side are close to winning the race for his signature.
Marca have stated that Cristiano Ronaldo is only one step away from joining Al Nassr. All that remains now is for the contracts to be signed in order for the deal to go through.
Manchester United terminated the forward’s contract following his controversial interview with Piers Morgan. And it seems like we are now at the end of an era, with one of the greatest players of all-time set to leave Europe’s top five leagues.
