Netflix’s Shipwrecked: Nightmare at Sea plunges into the 2012 Costa Concordia disaster. Through harrowing survivor testimonies and raw audio, the film masterfully captures the chaos of that sinking night.

While the high-octane editing keeps tension at a breaking point, the documentary unfortunately glides over the critical aftermath and systemic failures. It is a gripping, emotional watch, albeit slightly shallow.
