K-pop fans, it was one of those Friday nights on **Music Bank** (May 15, 2026) that reminded you why you fell in love with this genre. A packed lineup, electric performances, and one group proving they simply cannot be stopped right now — CORTIS.

### Standout Moments

**CORTIS** were the undeniable stars of the night — their “REDRED” encore had fans screaming across social media. Five wins for one song is a milestone that only truly special tracks achieve in today’s ultra-competitive K-pop landscape.

**aespa** brought the chaos energy of “WDA (Whole Different Animal)” to the stage, while **NMIXX** pulled double duty with both “Heavy Serenade” and “Crescendo” — a showcase of their performance range that few groups can match.

**BOYNEXTDOOR** delivered “ddok ddok ddok” with the kind of fresh boyish charm that keeps growing their fanbase every week. **ILLIT**, fresh off being CORTIS’s closest rival for the win, proved “It’s Me” is very much still a crowd favourite.

New acts **FLARE U** (“WAY 2 U”), **NAZE** (“People Talk”), and **H//PE PRINCESS** (“Stolen”) added exciting variety, giving global viewers a taste of K-pop’s ever-expanding roster of rising stars.

[Music Bank](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_Bank_(TV_series)) is one of South Korea’s longest-running music chart shows, airing on KBS since 1998 — making a win here genuinely prestigious for any act.
