Punjab Kings didn’t chase hype; they chased a specialized weapon. By signing Cooper Connolly, they secured a master of the back-foot game to conquer Mullanpur’s brutal pace-friendly tracks.

Despite recent form struggles, Connolly’s technical blueprint perfectly countered back-of-length deliveries. This wasn’t just a recruitment; it was a calculated tactical strike to fix Punjab’s biggest structural weakness in the IPL.
