Just when you thought Marvel’s casting board was full, a surprise name has shown up. **Connor Storrie**, who became a fan favourite through *Heated Rivalry*, is reportedly in talks to join the MCU’s upcoming **Ghost Rider** film. It’s a big leap, and it would put him face to face with Ryan Gosling.

## The Buzz in a Nutshell

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Storrie is being considered for the villain. Gosling is expected to play **Johnny Blaze**, the stunt rider who sells his soul and becomes the flaming-skulled anti-hero. Marvel hasn’t named Storrie’s character, and nothing is official yet, so treat this as a strong rumour for now.

## Connor Storrie : Overview

| Detail | What We Know |

| **Actor in talks** | Connor Storrie |
| **Known for** | *Heated Rivalry*, *Joker: Folie à Deux* |

## From Hockey Romance to Hellfire

Storrie’s rise has been quick. Before *Heated Rivalry* made him a household name, he appeared in *Joker: Folie à Deux* as the inmate who attacks Arthur Fleck, a character hinted to become the “real Joker.” So he has played menacing before, and a Marvel antagonist could suit him well.

## Why Fans Are Excited?

Shawn Levy knows how to mix humour and heart in a Marvel film, as he showed with *Deadpool & Wolverine*. He is also working with Gosling on *Star Wars: Starfighter*. Add Linus Sandgren’s cinematography, and the film could look as striking as it sounds. Marvel confirmed *Ghost Rider* at San Diego Comic-Con this summer, and things seem to be moving fast.
