Get ready for a dose of period action comedy — **Comrade Kalyan**, starring Sree Vishnu, has locked its theatrical release, and the makers picked the most fitting day to announce it.

## The Big Reveal

On Independence Day, the team dropped the date with a punchy line: the film is “coming… not to start a revolution, but to start a LAUGH RIOT.” Comrade Kalyan will now hit the big screens on **October 9, 2026**, timed to coincide with the festive [Dussehra](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dussehra) season — a period traditionally packed with big-ticket releases across Indian cinema.
