Como are making some strong moves in the transfer window, with Raphael Varane and Pau Lopez on their transfer list.
The Serie A newcomers have already signed Andrea Belotti from Roma to reinforce their attack. And now, they are planning to bolster their defence with a new centre-back and goalkeeper.

As per Nicolo Schiara, Como have reached an agreement with Pau Lopez for a contract till 2027. And now, they need to reach an agreement with Marseille over a transfer fee for the Spaniard. He has a contract with the French side till 2026, and was their first-choice for this past season, meaning Como might have to pay a significant amount.
The Italian side is also on the lookout for a new centre-back, and currently have two choices on their radar. They are pursuing Raphael Varane, who is currently available as a free agent but has received several offers from abroad. It won’t be an easy deal, but manager Cesc Fabregas is pushing for a move.

Cesc Fabregas wants Varane and they will try to make it happen, but there are several clubs interested in Europe and abroad — not an easy one.

The club has also offered a deal to Inter defender Stefano Sensi, who is also available as a free agent. The 28-year-old is yet to respond, but could be a huge addition to the squad if he accepts their proposal.
