Cody Gakpo is one of the targets for Manchester United this transfer window, as an alternative to Antony. The Brazilian is pushing for a move to Old Trafford, although Ajax are not willing to sell the player this late in the transfer window.
The PSV Eindhoven forward has the same agents as Erik Ten Hag, and is open to a move to United in case they submit a bid for him. He is highly rated among the top Premier League clubs, and Arsenal were previously interested in signing him. However, a move did not go through for him as of yet.

Antony remains the priority for Manchester United, but they have had an €80 million bid for him rejected. Despite that, they are planning to come back with an offer as high as €100 million for the winger.
This past weekend, the Brazilian was not included in the squad for the game against Sparta Rotterdam either. He refused to train with the first team in the days leading up to the game as well, as a way of pressurising Ajax to sell him.
However, nothing has come to pass as of yet. Ajax have started talks with Hakim Ziyech as a potential replacement for the Brazilian if he leaves the club. However, Cody Gakpo remains a realistic option for United in case the deal for Antony does not work out.
