Managers with the fewest games to score 100 goals: Only a few clubs have reached the milestone of scoring 100+ goals under a single manager. But some teams have been able to do so in very few games, setting up a remarkable run of form that has usually ended in silverware. 

In this article, we will be taking a look at the top three clubs that have scored 100 goals the fastest under a single manager.

3. Manolo Marquez (Hyderabad FC): 56 games

Manolo Marquez was in charge of Hyderabad FC from 2020 to 2023, helping them win the ISL title in 21/22. The Nizams scored 100 goals under him in 56 games, which was the second highest at the time. The Spaniard is now in charge of FC Goa, who held the record for the fewest games taken to 100 goals when he was with Hyderabad. 

2. Sergio Lobera (FC Goa): 53 games 

Under Sergio Lobera, FC Goa were one of the top teams in the ISL before their eventual decline. They only took 53 games to score 100 goals across all competitions, winning the Indian Super Cup in the 18/19 season too. Lobera was in charge of the Gaurs from 2017 to 2020, and now manages Odisha FC. 

1. Des Buckingham (Mumbai City FC): 47 games

The Englishman broke the record for the fewest games to score 100 goals, with only 47 matches needed. Buckingham guided the Islanders to the title last season, and his side has only lost 11 out of the 48 games he has overseen including the AFC Champions League and Durand Cup.
