More information on the impending Halo Infinite campaign co-op beta has been made available to fans by 343 Industries. Beginning the week of July 11, the eagerly anticipated feature will enable gamers to cooperate while playing the game’s story mode.
Halo Infinite Campaign
No matter which Xbox console or PC a player uses, they can put on the Master Chief’s helmet with up to four other players. Additionally, the development team has stated that all players’ progress would be shared, meaning that anything you unlock and acquire in co-op will remain in your account when you go back to solo play.
The expansive world of Halo Infinite will inspire players to stick together inside a 1000-meter radius. You will receive a warning if you reach 800 and are subsequently killed and respawn at your nearest teammate at 1000m. However, 343 claims that there should be enough room for you to encircle the entire Banished Dig Site from two sides “with enough to spare.”
About the Upgrades and Other Stuff
Meanwhile, each player’s upgrades and cores will be tracked independently. When one member of the Fireteam gathers it, everyone in the Fireteam receives credit, but you get to decide how to use it.
In that save slot, you’ll have your own unique independent “build” of the Master Chief. The Mission Replay function will also be included in the test flight, allowing you to go back and retrieve any achievements and collectibles. Speaking about achievements, there will be new ones to obtain.
It should be mentioned that for the time being, the co-op beta for Halo Infinite will only be a single test flight. That implies that until the retail version of the game is fully available there later this year, progress won’t carry over there.
However, if you’re still keen to participate, you may register to become a Halo Insider here. You can find more information on the campaign co-op beta and Mission Replay flight here. They both launch the week of July 11.
