The CMF Phone 2 Pro is officially launching on April 28, and just ahead of its debut, CMF (Nothing’s sub-brand) has revealed key details about its processor. The new device will come with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro chipset under the hood, an upgrade from the Dimensity 7300 used in last year’s CMF Phone 1. The new chip also offers up to 10% faster CPU performance and up to 5% better graphics performance than the previous generation, the company says.

CMF confirmed the update in a post on X (previously known as Twitter), also noting that the chipset includes MediaTek’s sixth-generation NPU, capable of supplying 4.8 TOPS (trillion operations per second) for AI-based tasks. CMF Phone 2 Pro has gaming-friendly features, including up to 120 FPS support on BGMI, a touch sampling rate of 1,000Hz, and a 53% improvement in network connectivity for gamers.
The phone is also reportedly said to come in a slim and lightweight design and will retain the design aesthetic of the original CMF Phone 1. The launch event will also see the launch of three new earphones, which include the CMF Buds 2, Buds 2a, and Buds 2 Plus. Nothing co-founder and CMF India head Akis Evangelidis confirmed that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will include a charger inside the box.
The first-gen CMF Phone 1 first launched in July 2023, with a starting price of ₹15,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It featured a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED LTPS screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, a 50MP Sony main camera with a portrait lens, and a 5,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be available for purchase via Flipkart post-launch.
