CMF, a sub-brand of Nothing, has announced that the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be officially launched in India and global markets on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST. This upcoming model will replace the CMF Phone 1, which was launched in September 2023. CMF Phone 2 Pro and New CMF Buds Series to Launch Globally and in India on April 28 at 6:30 PM IST
While CMF Phone 2 Pro’s complete specifications are not yet known, a teaser image shared by the company earlier this week offered a glimpse of the phone’s rear design which showed plastic edges, one screw on the rear for mounting the panels and a glossy back with matte finish. CMF by Nothing branding is also present at the bottom left of the back panel of the device. The new model is expected to offer enhancements over its predecessor.
To recall, the CMF Phone 1 features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,400 pixels) AMOLED LTPS display with up to 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 395ppi pixel density, and 240Hz touch sampling rate, and up to 2,000 nits peak brightness. It had a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 5G chipset, 8GB RAM at most, and Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14. On the camera front, it housed a 50MP main rear camera with a Sony sensor, EIS support, and a portrait sensor with 2x zoom.
The front camera was a 16MP shooter. It was powered by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Pricing details for the CMF Phone 2 Pro have yet to emerge, but considering the CMF Phone 1 was launched at roughly ₹15,000, expect the next phone to fall in the same general price bracket but to pack in enhanced features.
