Currently, in the 19th edition of the FIFA Club World Cup Real Madrid faced Al-Hilal in the final of this year’s tournament. Real Madrid is the club with the most Club World Cup trophy won in history. They have won the tournament for a record 5 times.

The FIFA Club World Cup started in 2000, paused from 2001-2004, then resumed in 2005 with a new format. It features seven teams from six confederations plus the host nation competing for the world club championship.
