## What Episode 1 Stills Reveal

The opening episode of *Climax* wastes no time establishing its atmosphere. **Bang Tae Seob** (Ju Ji Hoon) is a prosecutor who has made a dangerous, deliberate choice — to throw himself into a powerful cartel that spans politics, business, and the entertainment industry, with his eyes fixed on the very top of South Korea’s power ladder. The moment Episode 1 introduces an “unexpected incident,” the entire structure of this carefully built power game begins to fracture.

The stills speak louder than words. Ju Ji Hoon is captured standing **alone at a grave in the pouring rain at night** — a loaded, solitary image that immediately signals the moral weight of what his character is navigating. Meanwhile, **Ha Ji Won** as his wife Chu Sang Ah wears a face full of conflict and concealed knowledge — someone living inside a world of power while quietly carrying her own secrets.

**Cha Joo Young** as Lee Yang Mi is seen calmly leading a conversation — effortlessly in control. **Oh Jung Se** fixes his counterpart with a piercing gaze. And **Nana** as Hwang Jung Won monitors events closely while speaking on the phone with Bang Tae Seob — a quiet, watchful presence that raises immediate questions about her loyalties.

The most telling image? Bang Tae Seob and Chu Sang Ah walking **past each other in opposite directions inside a hotel** — a visual metaphor for a marriage that is simultaneously close and drifting apart.
