Paris Saint-Germain are all set to announce the arrival of Christophe Galtier as their new head coach. They have reached total agreement with him and his agents, and it is only a matter of time before his appointment is made official. According to Fabrizio Romano, the formal announcement will be made next week.

The former Lille boss will be working with Luis Campos once again. The last time the pair were together in a project, they were able to beat PSG to the Ligue 1 title, in miraculous fashion. And now, they might be an unstoppable force owing to their familiarity from the previous years.

With the appointment of Christophe Galtier, Mauricio Pochettino will be dismissed. There were lengthy negotiations between the Argentinian and the club, and now everything is in place for him to be replaced. The official announcement will be made in the coming days.

Vitinha and Renato Sanches are set to be the first signings for PSG in the modern era. While the French side have finalised the transfer for the Porto man, they are yet to wrap up negotiations for Renato Sanches. Milan Skriniar of Inter is also a target for them, and they are pushing to sign the centre-back ahead of the new season as well.

While Galtier has little experience in European competitions, he might be a breath of fresh air considering the previous appointments that the club has made.
