The K-drama universe just got a new power pairing. **Choi Yoon Ji** has officially been confirmed as the female lead opposite **Lee Jong Suk** in the upcoming romance drama **“Iseop’s Romance”** — and fans of chaebol-heir love stories are already buzzing.

## What’s The Drama About?

Based on a popular web novel, “Iseop’s Romance” follows Tae I Seop, a third-generation chaebol heir who’s brilliant at everything except love, and Kang Min Gyeong, TK Group’s talented “secret weapon” employee. Choi Yoon Ji steps into the role of Kang Min Gyeong, while Lee Jong Suk plays Tae I Seop — a role he was confirmed for earlier.

Production company ACE FACTORY confirmed the casting directly, stating Choi Yoon Ji will be appearing in the project.

## A Shared Universe

Here’s the exciting part: “Iseop’s Romance” isn’t a standalone story. It’s being produced alongside another web novel adaptation, “A Casual Lie” (working title), and the two dramas share the same universe. The connection runs through TK Group and cousins Tae I Seop (Lee Jong Suk) and Tae Jun Seop, played by Lee Jun Hyuk. Think of it as K-drama’s answer to a cinematic universe.

## Why This Casting Matters

Choi Yoon Ji has been building steady momentum, most recently appearing in “Love, Take Two.” Pairing her with Lee Jong Suk, a veteran romance lead, signals a big-budget, high-expectation project — especially with the shared-universe format rarely attempted in Korean television.

[Lee Jong Suk](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Jong-suk), known for his roles in acclaimed Korean dramas, has become one of the industry’s most bankable romance leads over the past decade.

Production is set to begin later this year, with the premiere slated for 2027. For more casting news and drama updates like this, head over to [TechnoSports](https://technosports.co.in) for the latest in entertainment coverage.
