Arsenal youngster Chido Obi Martin is all set to join Manchester United. The striker has accepted the proposal from the Red Devils and is set to complete the transfer in the coming days.
A number of German clubs were also interested in signing the youngster, but he turned them down in favour of a move to United. The player has reportedly been convinced by United’s academy setup and potential pathway into the first team if he does well.

Reports suggest that Ruud Van Nistelrooy was key in getting the deal over the line. After recently joining as a member of the backroom staff, the former player explained the project to Martin, which convinced him to make the switch.
The youngster was originally a part of the FC Copenhagen youth academy before joining Arsenal in 2022. This past season, Chido Obi Martin scored an unbelievable 32 goals in 18 Under-18 Premier League games.
His arrival at a top club like Manchester United is certainly exciting for fans. And with the way Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo have made their way into the first team, Martin could also join them if he can continue to impress at the youth level.
