Chennaiyin FC transfer news 2024-25: All new signings and outgoings

If you’ve been struggling to keep up with all the transfers they’ve made so far, here is a list of all of Chennaiyin FC’s transfers for 24-25.

Mohun Bagan SG duo joins Chennaiyin FC

Kiyan Nassiri and Lalrinliana Hnamte have completed their transfer to Chennaiyin FC ahead of the Durand Cup. The pair were both left on the bench for most parts, in spite of their talents. And with no assurance over playing time at their former club, they have made a move down south to earn more playing time under Owen Coyle, who is building an ambitious new project with the Marina Machans.

Gurkirat Singh and Mohammad Nawaz leave Mumbai City FC to sign for Chennaiyin

Gurkirat showed flashes of his brilliance as he broke out at Mumbai City FC over the last season. And now, he has joined Nassiri and Hnamte as another up-and-coming youngster to join Coyle at Chennaiyin.

Nawaz, on the other hand, has been on the bench as the backup for Phurba Lachenpa at City. But with Debjit Majumder now at East Bengal, he will likely be the starting choice for Coyle between the sticks.

Chennaiyin FC sign four Jamshedpur FC players in major transfer move

Daniel Chima Chukwu, Elsinho Dias, Laldinpuia and Jitendra Singh have joined Chennaiyin FC as Owen Coyle turns to his former club for reinforcements. Laldinpuia and Elsinho are both huge additions to the club’s central defence, while Chukwu can provide experience in attack after spending several years in India.

Jitendra Singh has also swapped JFC for Chennaiyin after spending five years with them. The young defensive midfielder could prove to be a shrewd signing for the club in the long run.

Jordan Wilmar joins Chennaiyin FC after Punjab

Wilmar has now signed for his third ISL club, having previously featured for NorthEast United and Punjab FC. This past season, the Colombian scored eight goals and provided one assist in 15 ISL matches and will be expected to provide a big impact at his new club too.

Ninthoi Meetei has moved in the other direction in a separate deal, with the 23-year-old ending his three-year spell with Chennaiyin.

Lukas Brambilla signs for Chennaiyin FC in major transfer

Skilled Brazilian winger Lukas Brambilla has completed his transfer to Chennaiyin FC from Othellos Athien after weeks of speculation. The 29-year-old has played across Europe and Brazil and has heaps of experience at his disposal. He has signed a one-year deal till 2025 with the Marina Machans.

Mandar Rao Desai joins from East Bengal as Debjit moves in the other direction

After an impressive season with Chennaiyin FC, Debjit Majumder has returned to East Bengal and has been registered for their CFL squad already. On the other hand, Mandar Rao Desai has made the trip down south to join Owen Coyle’s new squad after his spell with the Red and Gold club, which included winning the Kalinga Super Cup this past season.

How many times has CFC won the ISL?

Two times
