On April 3 2024, Chennaiyin FC and the English football club Norwich City FC unveiled a strategic alliance focused on nurturing mutual advancement, innovation, and cooperation in football. This collaboration unites two prestigious football clubs from diverse regions of the globe, bound by their dedication to excellence both on and off the field.

During a press conference held in Chennai on Wednesday, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was officially signed by the clubs. Present at the event were Ekansh Gupta, Vice President of Chennaiyin FC, and Sam Jeffery, Commercial Director at Norwich City FC.

Chennaiyin FC and Norwich City FC contribute a rich reservoir of experience, expertise, and distinctive footballing philosophies to this partnership. Presently, they occupy the sixth position in the ongoing Championship season, positioning themselves for a potential promotion to the Premier League.
