Jamshedpur FC have climbed to second place in the ISL with a dominant 4-1 win over Chennaiyin FC. Here are the three talking points from the game.
Quickfire goals for Jamshedpur FC seal win
An attacking onslaught in the first half helped the designated away team get the advantage. Goals from Ritwik Das, Chima and Boris Singh helped Jamshedpur FC walk back into the tunnel with a 3-0 lead.
On the other side of half time, Greg Stewart got onto the scoresheet himself after assisting Boris Singh’s goal. The Scottish forward showed yet again that he is one of the most complete attackers in the ISL.
Difficult day for CFC
In the first half, Chennaiyin found it very difficult to get going. And with the opposition three goals ahead by half time, it was always going to be difficult for them to grow back into the game. But, poor finishing denied them the chance to force mistakes from their opponents and potentially grow back into the game.

After easing past Chennaiyin FC, Jamshedpur FC are only three points behind the league leaders with a game in hand. They will be facing strong competition for ATK Mohun Bagan in the race for the league title. With consistent performances all season round, it would be a very well deserved league title win for the Men of Steel if they are able to hold on until the final game.
Their title hopes could rest on the outcome of a single game at the end of the season, with Jamshedpur set to face ATK Mohun Bagan in their last game.
