The third round of the Indian Racing Festival at the Madras International Circuit saw an exhilarating weekend of racing, with Mohammed Ryan from Chennai Turbo Riders taking his first-ever win. Ryan’s victory in Race-2 followed teammate Jon Lancaster’s triumph in Race-1, marking a successful weekend for the team. The 22-year-old, who previously won the 2019 Rotax Karting championship, put on a masterclass in his home circuit, leading from start to finish.
While Ryan stormed ahead, Sohil Shah from Goa Aces JA Racing moved into second place early, overtaking Jaden Pariat of Bangalore Speedsters, who was later passed by his teammate Rishon Rajeev. The top three maintained their positions throughout, ensuring a strong finish.
Ryan, elated by his victory, shared, “I had a great start and focused on consistency. It feels amazing that Chennai Turbo Riders won both races this weekend!”
