Chengiz, Jeet‘s new movie, is all set to tell us the story of the underworld of Kolkata. The famous Bengali star Jeet has come back to the silver screen with a new Bengali movie named Chengiz. It was released both in Bengali as well as Hindi languages.
Chengiz is going to be a movie that tells us the story of the underworld fabric of Kolkata from the 1970s to the mid-1990s. In this movie, Jeet is playing the role of a gangster. The film also captures and shows us the chronicled journey of the titular character, who is an underworld kingpin and rules the streets.
Chengiz OTT release date: All details about the movie
Chengiz is the first Bengali movie that was released all over India as a Pan India movie in various languages. Chengiz was released in theatres on April 21, 2023, at the time of Eid. Although nothing has been officially announced, it is expected that the movie Chengiz will be released on the OTT platform two months after its release i.e. in June 2023.
Although nothing has been revealed on which OTT platform it is going to be released, it is expected that it will be released on Amazon Prime Video as well as on Hoichoi. Here we present the trailer to give you a glimpse of the movie.

The movie is going to be the first Bengali movie which is going to be released in Hindi at the same time in theatres along with the Bengali version. Chengiz is directed by Rajesh Ganguly, who has also worked on the dialogues and screenplay, and produced by Jeet, Gopal Madnani, and Amit Jumrani, ‘Chengiz’ is presented by Jeetz Filmworks in association with AA Films. It stars Jeet, Shataf Figar, Susmita Chatterjee, and Rohit Bose Roy in key roles.
