Chelsea are expected to soon announce the signing of Jadon Sancho on a loan deal with the obligation to buy from Manchester United. The two sides have reached an agreement for the winger on deadline day, but the transfer is yet to be made official.
There is an obligation to buy the winger included in the deal for the Blues, under a specific condition. And that is if they finish 14th or above in the Premier League table.

Personal terms were not an issue in the deal, and Chelsea presented United with two bids on deadline day. One was the option to buy the player after a loan spell, and another was an obligation. The Red Devils have chosen the latter, with the price for the obligation at £25 million.
Sancho has publicly revealed that he supported Chelsea as a boy, with Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard among his idols. Now, he will be playing for the West Londoners after not being able to get things going at Manchester United.
It now remains to be seen how the 24-year-old performs under Enzo Maresca at his new club, given the fierce competition for places.
