Chelsea are set for yet another London derby this weekend, facing Tottenham Hotspur on Monday. It will be an emotional return for Mauricio Pochettino to his former club’s ground after leaving them in 2019, now in charge of one of their arch-rivals.

Injury concerns have been an ongoing theme for Chelsea over the past year, with several names consistently on their injury list. And in the pre-match press conference, Pochettino revealed the players to return from injury ahead of the big game alongside the players that still need time to rehabilitate.

After spending the last two weeks out with a thigh injury, Mykhaylo Mudryk could return to the starting line-up on Monday. The Ukrainian is back to full training and will be expected to add to his goal tally after scoring two before getting injured.

The likes of Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia continue to be ruled out, as they continue working on their respective injuries.

On the other hand, Armando Broja is expected to undergo scans for an irritation in his knee. Pochettino revealed that the striker could be available from the bench in the game.

Lastly, Christopher Nkunku is nearing his competitive debut for Chelsea, and is expected to finally start after the November international break. The Frenchman is training on grass and is expected to join team training in the coming weeks.
