The Premier League has hammered Chelsea with a record £10.75 million fine. The club faces a nine-month academy transfer ban and a suspended first-team transfer prohibition. These penalties stem from £47.5 million in undisclosed payments during the Abramovich era. While new owners self-reported the 2011-2018 financial breaches, the shadow of further disciplinary action looms large over Stamford Bridge’s future.
