Chilwell is also interested in joining the Blues. He sees his future playing at the Stamford Bridge. He wants to cement his place in the England team. Chelsea is already under a building phase, so if Chilwell joins them, he will be able to be a part of a successful era at the club.
Leicester City seems to make it a habit of selling one of their main players each summer since winning the Premier League title in 2016. They have already sold Harry Maguire, Riyad Mahrez, Danny Drinkwater and N’Golo Kante. Now, the next in line is Ben Chilwell.
They first demanded a massive price of around £80m for Ben Chilwell but after losing out on a Champions League place for the next season they have lost their negotiating position. So Chelsea are believed to have submitted a bid of around £50m for the left-back.

Reportedly, Leicester are close on accepting Chelsea’s bid for Chilwell and in order to replace him, they have already chosen their next left-back. They have zeroed down Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico. The Argentine has been in fine form for Ajax and he could prove to be a worthy replacement of Chilwell.
