Sam Kerr opened the scoring shortly after the half hour mark, but her opener was cancelled out by Lauren Hemp’s curling shot into the top corner. Both the trophies won under the Todd Boehly era at Chelsea have been by the women’s team, which shows their clear dominance in the division right now. Chelsea will now be aiming for a stronger performance in the Women’s Champions League next season, after making it to the finals last year.
