There’s something universally warming about a celebrity quietly stepping into parenthood — no big announcements, no magazine deals, just a heartfelt Instagram dump that says everything. That’s exactly what **Charles Melton** did, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more endearing.

## The Baby Announcement That Melted the Internet

The 35-year-old actor — best known for playing Reggie Mantle in *Riverdale* and his acclaimed turn in *May December* — took to Instagram to announce the arrival of his first child with girlfriend **Camille Summers-Valli**. His caption? Simply: *“our family.”*

The carousel post was a beautiful mix of intimate moments: a kiss with Camille, a tiny newborn foot dwarfed by his hand, a beach walk during the pregnancy, their dog making a guest appearance, and finally — a photo of Charles holding his newborn at what appears to be the hospital.

He kept the baby’s name and gender private, which, frankly, feels refreshing in an era of oversharing.
