Champions League 23/24 results: The second night of Round 2 fixtures from the group stage of the Champions League brought its own share of surprises. Most prominently, Newcastle United ran riot against PSG at home, helping them earn their first win in the competition after a 20-year wait.

Miguel Almiron scored their first goal back in the competition, as the Parisians had to endure a heavy defeat away from home. On the other hand, Manchester City handed RB Leipzig a 3-1 defeat while Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan played out a goalless draw and Lazio completed a comeback from 1-0 down to win against Celtic 2-1.

Barcelona continued their Champions League winning run with a 1-0 victory over Porto. Ferran Torres scored for his side after coming off the bench to replace an injured Robert Lewandowski after the half-hour mark.

Gavi was shown a red card late in the game, after picking up two yellow cards. The midfielder will miss their next Champions League game, but the Culers have enough depth to compensate for their star player.
