Chamak Release Date
Chamak is one of the highly-anticipated musical thriller series. The story of the series showcases the aspiring journey of a young rapper. Kaala, a pivotal character of the show comes back to Punjab from Canada to cover the events that concluded with the death of singer Taara Singh.
Plot
The story of the show will revolve around the murders of Taara; a singer who was shot dead in the middle of the complete performance. We can say Chamak is mainly a musical thriller that features 14 artists and 28 songs and reveals Kaala in this way via the underbelly of the Punjab music industry via politics, business challenges, and family history. On talking about the trailer, the director of the show, Rohit Jugraj said, “Today marks a proud moment for the entire team of ‘Chamak’.
Three years of hard work culminated in the release of our labor of love, ‘Chamak’. The story follows Kaala, a boy who grows up in Canada and reaches Punjab due to certain circumstances. Through Kala’s journey, we delve into the depths of the Punjabi music industry, exploring its highs and lows, love and hare, and the darkness behind the bling.”

The story of the show will be featured in two parts along with 6 episodes for every part. The new trailer provides short glimpses along with the musical thriller that features guest appearances from Punjabi music stalwarts along with Gippy Garewal, Mika Singh, Kanwar Garewal, Afsana Khan, MC Square, and more. In between this, we would like to talk about the courage and conviction that shaped the true-blue musical and indicates the first of its type in this country.

The new series has featured Paramvir Singh Cheema, Manoj Pahwa, Mohit Malik, Isha Talwar, Mukesh Chhabra, Prince Kanwaljit Singh, Suvinder Pal, and Aakasa Singh along with that special appearance through Gippy Grewal. The show has been helmed by Rohit Jugraj, and produced by Geetanjalo Mehelwa Chauhan, Rohit Jugraj Chauhan, and Sumeet Nandlal Dubey.
