Private helicopters, supercars, and a detective badge — Jin Yi Soo’s unconventional investigation style made Season 1 a hit, and now the director of **Flex x Cop 2** is promising the sequel goes even bigger.

Ahn Bo Hyun returns as Jin Yi Soo, the third-generation chaebol heir turned detective who treats his wealth and connections like cheat codes whenever a case hits a dead end. Joining him this season is Jung Eun Chae as Joo Hye Ra, a veteran detective and the new leader of Violent Crimes Team 1.

## Why Season 1 Became A Hit

First released in 2024, Flex x Cop earned widespread praise and hit a peak viewership rating of 11%, leading to a Season 2 confirmation while Season 1 was still airing. It’s since become one of SBS’s signature seasonal franchises — largely thanks to its wildly original premise and Ahn Bo Hyun’s standout performance.
